Ishtar Bridal Accessories are for beautiful, fierce, and empowered women. The name itself refers to Ishtar, the goddess of beauty, justice, and war. Our vision is to remind our beautiful brides that each one of them is unique and strong in her own way. 

The woman behind Ishtar Bridal Accessories is Yara Mansour. After a lifetime of passion for jewelry making, she decided to turn her passion into a small business in 2018. Since then, she has been customizing accessories for brides, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, pre-wedding parties and occasions to remember. 

All handmade pieces are created by a method Yara has refined over the years, using top quality beads and wires. To make the jewelry even more unique, all the beads used have been handpicked by Yara in her explorations of other cultures and countries. This means that no two pieces will be the same. 

Yara’s inspiration for new designs comes from her extensive travels to other countries, where she learns about the local methods and materials of jewelry making. Yara’s approach is hands-on; when traveling to a new location, she prefers to sit with women and listen to their stories about how art has impacted their lives - while also learning new techniques from them. For example, Yara learned the wire technique from the Zulu women in South Africa. 

Ishtar’s next collection will be inspired by Yara’s next leg of the journey - we are yet to see where it will take her.
